Liver Function Tests
Liver function tests (LFTs or LFs) are today much more than "only" clinical biochemistry laboratory blood assays including liver enzymes. Developments in medical technology open new innovative opportunities or make possible a breakthroughs in well known principles as e.g. 13C-breath tests.
Basic Blood Tests
On "Liver-Products" we do not want to elaborate on well known LFTs. The focus shall be on the market for liver function tests which are an innovation in hepatology. Still here is a short overview of the basic blood tests:

Two other methods we will speak more detailed about on the according sites are:
- Functional Liver Challenge Tests, which check the ability of the liver to detoxify and eliminate drugs and other chemicals.
- Liver Function Urine Tests work quite similar to the Challenge Tests. They check the elimination rates of a certain markers in the urine.
